Aggregate water absorption test :-
The water absorption capacity tests determine the effective porosity of concrete and are not intended to measure the rate of capillary suction. Therefore, the increase in weight of a dry specimen when immersed in a shallow depth of water is generally referred to as the water absorption capacity.
